Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted at The Broke and the Bookish.
For today’s Top Ten Tuesday, the topic is, “Top Ten Author Duos You’d LOVE To See Write A Book Together” So what I’m going to do is pick TEN authors I’d love to see collaborate with each other… Five pairs total. 🙂
*Links on text will link to the authors’ GR pages! Photos will lead to my Instagram account.
#1. Rin Chupeco + Kendare Blake
Both Rin and Kendare write the most gore-y, descriptive and haunting YA horror books. The Girl From the Well and Anna Dressed in Blood both made me want to pee in my pants… Imagine what’d happen to me if they wrote a book TOGETHER. That book would just be fucking creeptastic and I NEED IT.
#2. Becky Albertalli + Kasie West
I fell in love with Becky’s debut novel, Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda, because of all the cuteness and quirkiness it contained. Simon was just so easy to relate to! Add that in with Kasie’s freaking adorable romances (Trevor, anyone?) and you’ve got a killer-good book. Maybe they can turn it into an urban fantasy, too!
#3. Krista & Becca Ritchie + Julie Cross
Technically, I’m cheating since they’re a trio, but Krista and Becca come as a set, so. 😉 Anyway, I’M ALREADY SWOONING AT THOSE COVER PHOTOS. Krista and Becca’s books are absolutely emotional, addictive and sexy. Add that with Julie’s natural, swoony and also incredibly addictive NA romances and BAM. Another GLORIOUS new adult book is born!
#4. Richelle Mead + Jeaniene Frost
Both Richelle and Jeaniene write hilarious, sexy and swoony paranormal romance books that also have these mysteries and fabulous action scenes that’ll keep your eyes glued to the page! The former’s YA series and the latter’s adult ones are my favorites–maybe together they can write an amazing NA paranormal romance!
#5. Sarah Ockler + Abigail Haas
Okay, these two authors have completely different styles, but I think they’ll collaborate brilliantly! Sarah writes amazing romances with glorious family ties, and Abigail writes the most spine-tingling thrillers in YA. Together, they’d put together the most glorious heart attack-inducing book: both in terms of extreme feels and from a shocking twist!
And there you have it! Thoughts?
